Tamarindo
Tamarindo is widely regarded as one of the most attractive and modern beach towns in all of Costa Rica. The region provides a wide variety of enjoyable outdoor activities for people of all ages. Because the weather is generally always pleasant, one may take advantage of the clear seas and pristine beaches for the vast majority of the year.
The formerly small fishing town of Tamarindo in Costa Rica is now one of the most famous tourist sites in the Guanacaste region. Tamarindo’s modest beginnings may be traced back to its fishing roots. This town is home to a stunning beach, a diverse selection of lodging options, and a multitude of dining establishments. The primary thoroughfare features a number of stores in addition to art galleries.
Swimming, surfing, fishing, and other water activities are some of the finest things to do in Tamarindo during the day, and as the sun goes down, the town comes alive with a vibrant nightlife scene.
Due to its proximity to the Liberia airport, which is approximately an hour away, we strongly suggest that you rent a car and explore the well-maintained roads at your own pace.
Grande Beach, which is located about 30 minutes to the north of Tamarindo Beach, is a more peaceful beach that is well-known for the Leatherback Sea Turtles that come to the beach to lay their eggs.
